   Reading some of the feedback I was slightly worried but I needn’t have been. This little cameo is exquisite and just as I had hoped. The detail on it is amazing, especially considering its size. I think it will also work well with polymer clay and not just fondant. I used cornflour to dust it, and made sure I used firm fondant for modelling (ordinary fondant with Gum Tragacanth added to make it stiffer) rather than “soft” ordinary fondant, it worked perfectly every time. I have used other moulds in the past and if using soft fondant they do stick and are difficult to remove.

   This makes a very sweet little plaque for butting on cakes I am experimenting using two colours as in the picture at the moment but it looks ok in one colour
