   Originally made by another company and disposed of some years ago when our children left home. Now, with 5 grandchildren I was so pleased to find these on Amazon which were delivered in plenty of time to make my creme caramel for the family, which all turned out nicely onto the dishes as there were lids AND removable bottoms.. An excellent item.

   A great idea, but I found some of them leaked (leaving me with a nice puddle of jelly in my fridge). The trick seemed to be to make sure that you put the lid on quite quickly – I tried chilling some without the lids on and they were the ones that leaked the most. It seems that if you put the lid on while it’s hot that helps to seal the container (though doesn’t guarantee no leaks!) The kids loved them, but mostly ate the jelly straight from the mould rather than turning it out anyway (so no real need for the removable bottom).

   the jelly never comes out in that shape. not sure what is the point of the shape then.. might be good for baking, but i wanted it for jelly only. so no good
